Years ago, I had two children. Along the way, we shared countless learning adventures—some planned, some completely unexpected. Then I became a teacher, worked with children of all abilities, and spent decades studying how people learn.

Fast forward nearly 50 years...

Here's the good news:

All three of us learned to read and write!

Seriously, though, I've been fortunate to spend a lifetime watching children learn. Along the way, I discovered some simple ideas that can make learning easier, less stressful, and a lot more fun. I'd love to share those ideas with you.

Music is one of the brain's most powerful learning tools. Rhythm, repetition, rhyme, and melody help children remember information, recognize patterns, and build confidence. That's why you'll see music woven throughout the Fun2Read program whenever it can make learning easier and more enjoyable.

Our first book set, The Pick & Stick Kids Go to School, is designed to do more than teach reading skills.
